Again, media handlers of our amiable President on Sunday realeased a photo of him receiving a delegation of APC Governors at the Abuja House, London
According to the Presidency Nigeria twitter handle, the photo was released at 8:56pm (UK) and showed the President seemingly in high spirits surrounded by the said Governors and delegates. They included Chief John Oyegun, party Chairman, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport as well as the Governors of Imo, Kogi, Kaduna and Nasarawa.
As I’ve written in a previous post, President Buhari has been out of Nigeria since 7th May, over 70 days in London for medical treatment over a yet to be disclosed ailment.
For me, the question still remains, what is really wrong with Mr President to be housed in London for over 70 days, turning London into the new Federal Capital Territory. All we get are spoon-feeds of pictures of delegates going in and out of his residence in London, telling us all he is recovering ‘very fast’ and will be home ‘soon’
Recovering from what exactly? I think the presidency should be bold enough to tell Nigerians what really troubles the president. I believe very strongly he will still be supported. At the moment, Nigeria remains without its elected President for 70 whole days. Whether or not Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is an able acting president ain’t the point here.
Not saying anything is fertile ground for innuendos, rumours and of course ‘hyenas and jackals’
